Joyce Ann Wild Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 89, Joyce Ann Wild (Alton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephriam George and Viola Phoebe Padden (Moran); her husband Walter Lee Wild; her sister Mary Lou Koshinski; and her sons-in-law, Jack Farris and Richard Eggebrecht.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Farris of Godfrey, Cindy Eggebrecht (Larry) of Wentzville, MO, William "Butch" Weirich Jr. (Andrea) of Godfrey and Jeffrey A. Weirich (Pat) of Springfield, IL.; her grandchildren, Travis Farris (Connie), Daniel Weirich (Jenna Stemm), Raylene Williams, Matthew Weirich (Jenny), Steven Williams, Laura Von Barr (Uriah Cole), Lee Ann Flatt, Lindsey Chel (Anthony Zachmann), Lucy Greene (David) and Leo Eggebrecht (Chelsie); her great grandchildren, Riley Farris, Sean Farris, Dwayne Farris, Chance Farris, Landon Weirich, Cameron Weirich, Jackson Weirich, Harrison Weirich, Sophie Bartoszkiewicz, Owen Bartoszkiewicz, Wyatt Kimball, Evett Flatt, Marigold Zachmann, Harrison Greene, Weston Greene, Mackenna Eggebrecht and Madeline Eggebrecht; and her great great grandchildren, Tremison and Kinsley.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (820 West Homer Adams Pkway, Godfrey, IL 62035).
Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Marquette Catholic High School.
