It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Coleman (Alton, Illinois), born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Coleman; her daughter Su Batson; her sisters, Lillian Bennett (Tom) and Lucille Smith (Clarence); and her parents, Tony Mickoff and Anna Mickoff (Jelinek).
She is survived by: her sons, John D. Coleman, Tony Coleman (Heather) and Bill Coleman (Shirley); and her son-in-law Steve Batson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
