He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Alice; his in-laws, Clem and Irene Hillen; his grandson Jacob Hagen; his brothers, Ronald Kinder, Hugh Kinder and Kenneth Kinder; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Friedel and Kathleen Fortschneider.
He is survived by: his wife Marie C. Hillen; his children, Judy Pohlman (Steve), Jeffrey Kinder (Karen), Rita Hagen (Keith), Gary Kinder (Bhairavi) and Sarah Schleeper (Ken); his grandchildren, Brian Pohlman (Kylene), Ben Pohlman (Kayla), Kaye Gilbreth (Michael), Joshua Kinder, Anna Kinder, Emma Schleeper (Jake Roberts), Maria Payne, Lily Schleeper, Ella Kinder, William Schleeper, Katherine Schleeper and Eve Schleeper; his siblings, Gilbert Kinder (Shirley), Linda Kirn and Mary Ann Hetzel; and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca Kinder, Rose Ann Kinder, Patricia Friedel, Jane Badgley (Dave) and Gary Fortschneider. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
