He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jay "Jack" and Lillian McCurdy (Irvine); his former wife Vera Langeneckert; and his daughter-in-law Mindy McCurdy. He is survived by: his children, Jay (Denise McCurdy), Rob (Danelle Langeneckert), Susie (Josh Viehman), Joy (Mark Davis), Jill Hren of Coal City, IL and Jenny Weber of Hawaii; his grandchildren, John (Jessica McCurdy), Andrew (Tiffany McCurdy), Kaitlin (Jared Moore), Chloe, Luke (Jake Langeneckert), Abigail Funderburg, Carly, Jonathan (William Jarus), Marianna (Owen Hren) and Leigh-Ann Hopkins (Michael Wever); his great grandchildren, JJ, Aaron, Mason and Huxley; and his former wife Charlene. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
