He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Boner and Johanna May Boner (Kayser); his brother Gene F. Boner; his son-in-law Kevin Kattelman; and his nephew John Boner.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kattelman-Diveley (Kent) of Alton, IL, Gregory Boner (Dawn) of Bethalto, IL, Jeffrey Boner (Amy) of Bunker Hill, IL and Stephanie Orr (Brian) of Brighton, IL; his siblings, Robert Boner of Fetus, MO, Rose Marie Frey of Collinsville, IL and Daniel Boner of Edwardsville, IL; and his grandchildren, Kyle Kattelman (Kristie), Kristopher Kattelman (Angelia), Dustin Boner (Gena), Jeffrey Boner (Kaitlin), Joshua Boner, Kelsey Boner and Andrew Orr (Ashley). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
