He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Harlan of Shipman, IL; his sisters, Nancy Allen (Robert) of Denver, CO and Jo Anne Carroll (Dale) of Alton, IL; his children, Ashley Cottingham (Corey) and William "Andy" Harlan of Shipman, IL; his grandchildren, Zoey, Abel Cottingham and Zola Harlan; his nieces and nephews, Deborah Campbell (Vince) of Denver, CO, Elizabeth Bauer (Timothy) of Roxana, IL, Natalie Merli of St, Mitchell Allen of Boulder, CO and Jason Carroll (Tammy) of Alton, IL; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allyssa, Madeline Campbell, Riley, Peyton, Morgan Bauer, John E, Sophia Merli, Isaiah, Samuel and Ezra Colbert; and his close friend Mark Osterman (Beth).
