He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Thomas "Tom" and Margaret L. Edwards (Critcher); his daughter Michelle Lynne Edwards; and his brother Melvin Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Lynne Roettgers; his children, Jeff Edwards of Wood River, Mark Edwards (Elaine) of Godfrey and Kelly Weihe (Gary) of Newburgh, IN.; his grandchildren, Tasha Wolfe, Faith "Pud" Edwards, Stephen Edwards, Lucas Edwards, Zachary Edwards, Allison Weihe and Adam Weihe; his great grandchildren, Will, Sophie, Abel Reynolds, Caiden, Landon and Jackson Edwards; his sisters, Beverly Dulin of Alton and Barbara Humphrey (Harry) of Alton; and his caregiver Erica Towell.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, or OSF HealthCare Alton Home health.
