It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry James Westbrook (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Westbrook and Maxine Westbrook (Doyle); his former wife Nancy Schelle; his grandson David Westbrook; and his siblings, Ronnie Westbrook, Billy Westbrook and Sue Booten.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Westbrook (Jama) of East Alton, Scott Westbrook (Teri) of Cottage Hills, Keith Westbrook (Lori) of Alton, Adam Westbrook (Molly) of Godfrey and John Hughson (Aimee) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Schelle Fuhler, Kelsey Manescalco, Kayla Westbrook, Erin Westbrook, Andrew Westbrook, Kari Loehr, Noah Westbrook, Sylvia Hughson, Austin Westbrook, Alyssa Westbrook, Alexa Westbrook, Trevor Smith and Blake Smith; his great grandchildren, Zoey Manescalco, Josey Manescalco, Escher Fuhler and Ada Fuhler; and his brother Lee Milton Westbrook of Alton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Alton or Disabled American Veterans.
