He is survived by: his wife Amanda Tate; his children, Gerald "Rickey" Meeks II (Alecia) of Godfrey, IL and Scheryl "Cheri" Meeks of Alton, IL; his brothers, Howard Neal of Alton, IL and Stanley Meeks of Edwardsville, IL; and his grandchildren, Tashaun McCrady, Aaliyah Meeks, Taylor McCrady, Amayah Meeks, Autumn Meeks, Ta'liyah McCrady and Ayden Meeks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
