She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kubacka and Kathryn Kubacka; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Sorgea and Jackie Burjes. She is survived by: her husband Robert Burjes; her daughters, Genifer Brown (Matt) of Swansea and Sarah Robertson of Alton; her sisters, Pamela Seighman (Tom) of Uniontown, PA and Dr. Renee Juhl (Randy) of Glenshaw, PA.; her sister-in-law Nancy Sorgea of Brighton; her nephews, Brian Sorgea (Angie), Michael Sorgea and Ryan Seighman; her niece Tara Balonick (Brian); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailee Sorgea, Ashton Sorgea, Bonnie Balonick, Bruce Balonick, Sophia Seighman and Eli Seighman; and her caregivers, Maria, Emily, Scott, Dr. Masetti and Dr. Kirby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Gail's honor to the 5A's Animal Shelter, Alton Band and Orchestra Builders, or the Elijah P. Lovejoy Memorial.
