She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry G. Almand and Mamie E. Almand (Ross); and her great grandchild Kailey Almeter. She is survived by: her children, Jan S. Christopher of Wood River, James K. Almeter II (Sarah) of Godfrey, Jeffrey B. Almeter (Shawn) of Alton, John M. Almeter (Lisa) of Virginia and Jay D. Almeter of Alton, IL.; her grandchildren, Katherine, Daniel Christopher, James K. Almeter III, Joseph, Jennifer Almeter, Sara Maltimore, Justin Almeter, Jessica Myers, Jeremy, Joshua, Jordan, Jack Almeter, Zachary and Jacob Almeter; her brother James R. Almand (Ester) of Seven Springs, NC; her friend Laurie Middleton of Alton; her brothers, Ralph G. Almand and Ronald J. Almand; and her great grandchild Xander Plont. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews.
