We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2022, at the age of 87, Ellen Louise Godfrey (Alton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Callahan and Garnet Callahan (Bushey); her son Michael Godfrey; her granddaughter Brittany; and her brothers, Michael, Patrick and Jack Callahan.

She is survived by: her children, Christina Wooff (Jeffrey) of Alton, Daniel Godfrey of Dow, Stephen Godfrey of Godfrey, Timothy Godfrey of Dow, Anthony "Tony" Godfrey (Julie) of Godfrey and David Godfrey of Godfrey; her daughter-in-law Margaret Godfrey of Gulf Breeze, FL.; her grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, Grace, Lauren, Justin, Brooke and Corinne; and her great grandchild Kamdon.

Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
