He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Griffin and Eddie Sue Griffin (Birdseye); his son Dion Griffin; his sisters, Carolyn Griffin and Linda Williams; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Griffin, Diane Griffin and Jeffrey Pope; and his friend Ray Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Griffin, Sr. of St. Louis, Nancy Griffin of St. Louis, Richard Griffin of Orlando, FL, Anna Griffin of St. Louis, LaDonna Spears (Lester) of St. Louis, Patti Franklin (Michael) of St. Louis, Karen Pope of St. Louis, Demetrius Griffin of St. Louis, Adrian Griffin of St. Louis, Tina Dansberry (David) of St. Louis and Tony Griffin of St. Louis; his brother-in-law Jessi Williams of St. Louis; his friends, Tommy Davis of St. Louis, Terry Norful of St. Louis and Andrew Roberts of St. Louis; and his former wife Sharon Weary (Larry) of Godfrey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
