He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Joseph Shaw and Betty Lucille Franklin (Shewmake); his son Rickey Shaw; and his siblings, Clarence "Butch" Shaw, Rickey Shaw, Ronnie Shaw, Joe Shaw, Jeffrey Shaw, Kurt Steele and Donna Cambell.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Roswell of Bethalto, Nikki Shaw of Alton, Stephanie Shaw of Alton and Joe Shaw (Cheri) of Alton; his grandchildren, Lil Rickey, Brandon, Colten, Joey, Payton and Maycie; his great grandchild Rieler; and his siblings, Kevin Tite of Missouri and Dreana McClurg (Mike) of Kansas City.
