He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley A. Madison and Mary Madison (Richards); and his sister Marcia. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Johnson; his children, Michael "Mick", Susan Madison of Bethalto, Denise M. Madison of Lake and Steve Vickers; his grandsons, Brent A. (Alaa Madison) and Derek Madison of Bethalto; his great grandchildren, Dalia and Deen Madison; and his nieces, Susan Todd, Debra and Chris Vogt. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Siteman Cancer Center, or Zion Lutheran School, or to BJC Hospice.
