Nelson (Coffman); his spouse Edith Hand (Schenk); his children, Sharon (Ted Sperry), Carolyn (Jerry Robertson), Sandy (Dennis Shaw), Betty (Don Secor), Bob Hand, Karri Hand of Hollywood Beach, Jimmy and Jeff Glisson of Brooksville; his sister Ruth Ann Gray of East Alton; his children, Kathy Godfirnon and Ralph James Hand II; his grandchildren, Scott Gibbs and Darren Prehn; and his siblings, Mabel Stone, Louise Nelson, Janice Allen, Gladys Mae Major, Clarence Nelson, Lee Nelson, Benjaman Nelson and Larry Nelson. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, twenty – three great grandchildren, seventeen great – great grandchildren.
