He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence DeSpain and Fern Grace DeSpain (McDonald); his wife Dolores Malley; his sister Loretta Ozee; and his stepsons, LeRoy Coleman, Jr. and William Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Sanders (Tim), Debra Martin and David DeSpain (Jeff Walker); his grandchildren, Dre DeSpain and Kara Martin-Deck; his great grandchild Mason Deck; and his stepchildren, Martha Reeves (James), Helen Stauffer (Dennis) and Robert Coleman. He is also survived by 21 step grandchildren, 24 step great grandchildren and 18 step great great grandchildren.
