It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carolyn A. Harris (Alton, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 91, on April 16, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Reuben Allen and Helen Gertrude Barker (Smith); her husband William Harris; and her brothers, Dale Barker and Jimmy Barker.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Willis of Godfrey and Reuben Willis (Theresa) of Godfrey; her grandchildren, Emily (Alex), Shannon Rose and Alexander; and her close friends, Janet, Mickey, Harold and Robb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter or a memorial of your choice.
