She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Knighton, Jr.; her daughter Nicole Knighton; her grandson Tyler Slack; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Ramsey, Dorothy Moore (Ramsey) and Kenneth Ramsey.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Hardimon (Daryl), Tiffany Adams (David) and Jesse Knighton, III; her siblings, Michael Ramsey (Sandra), Timothy Edwards, Patricia Martin and Kathleen Ramsey; and her sister-in-law Nettie Ramsey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Living God (101 W Elm St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Upper Alton Cemetery (2090 Oakwood Ave, Alton, IL 62002).
