It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Margaret Valdez (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frederico James Valdez; her parents, Bill Dennis and Mildred Dennis; her brother Robert "Sonny" Dennis; her son Kenneth Stover; and her grandson Joshua Stover.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Stover, Mark Stover, Paul Stover and Robert Stover; her grandchildren, Tashina Stover, Chelsea Stover, Carlie Stover, Savannah Stover, Kaytlin Stover, Noah Stover, Paul Stover, Jr., Shelby Hall (Stover), Valerie Stover, John Lance Stover, Christopher Stover and Christa Stover; her stepchildren, Tony Valdez and Sherry Torrez; and her stepgrandchildren, Melanie Nagel (Torrez), Tony Torrez, Miranda Cagle (Torrez), Angelina Valdez, Alexander Valdez and Xavier Valdez. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A devout Christian, Beverly dedicated much of her life to her faith and her community, including her contributions to the Mississippi Valley Christian School in Alton, IL.
