He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Burney and Dorothy Burney (Campbell); and his brother Michael Burney. He is survived by: his children, Scott Burney (Jodi) of Jerseyville, Robert Burney of Jerseyville and Heather Burney of Godfrey; and his grandchildren, Kiley Goree, Ava Burney and Mason Burney. He is also survived by many extended family members and good friends.
