He was predeceased by: his parents, George Glisson and Willy Ruth Glisson (Cox); his wife Judith Lynn Chamness; and his siblings, Ricky Glisson, Jerry Glisson and Charolette Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara "Tammy" Olson (Jon) of Alton, Algie Glisson Jr. (Billie Lee) of Alton and George Glisson of Alton; his grandchildren, Sierra Glisson, Samanthia Glisson and Algie Glisson III; his great grandchild Oliver Wayne Glisson; and his siblings, Billy Jo Glisson, Timmy Glisson of Alton and Carolyn Taylor of Alton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
