He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose James and Etheline Wren (Wells); his wife Bonnie LaVona May (Milner); his son-in-law Charles Sewell; and his brother Junior Ambrose Wren.
He is survived by: his daughter Annette Sewell of Alton; his stepchildren, Deb DeVous (Bill) of Centre, AL, Ronnie Streich, Gary Stevenson (Sherry) of South Roxana, Lisa Smither (Marc) and Julie Hogue of Alton; his grandchildren, Steven Sewell of Godfrey and Jamie Walker of Alton; and his great grandchildren, Gemma Sewell, Carter Sewell and Ashlynn Watson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
