He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolla Herschel and Sarah Evelyn Harrison (Young); his wife Nancy Dillard (Blaine); and his brother John. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Bartlett; his children, Bart Harrison (Debbie), Brett Harrison (Katherine), Amy Webster (Gary), Ben Harrison (Juliana), Angie Sproull, Ned Harrison (Michelle) and Neil Harrison; his stepdaughters, Julie Yost (Jim) and Joni Murphy (Dan); and his sister-in-law Judy Harrison.

Memorials may be made to Fosterburg Fire Protection District.
