He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Cox (Jeff Waters) of East Alton, Alan Cox, Jr. (Rebecca) of Alton, Josh Arnold (Kara) of East Alton, Jesse Sheets (Jenny) of Alton, Phillip Cox (Summer) of New Mexico and Jacqueline Wilfong of Alton; his grandchildren, Doug Grizzle, III (Ashlynn), Mathew Reynolds, Shana Reynolds, Jasmine Sanders of Roxi Wilfong, A. J, Kylee Cox, Keri Bligh, Taylor Cross, Cam Arnold, Jake Sheets and Jaxon Sheets; his great grandchildren, Douglas IV, Neveah, Serenity, Jayden, Rosealee and Rylee; his siblings, Gloria Harris (Scott) of Kansas City, MO, Russell Cox of Wood River, Claudia Cox of Alton and Pamela Harris of Alton; his former life partner Marcia Giberson of East Alton; and his close friend Charlie Price of Alton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
