We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 63, Sandra Burgess of Alto Pass, Illinois, born in Cairo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Verland "Bill" and Addie Beth Burgess. She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Burgess (Shawn) of Cobden, Jessica Burgess (Ralph) of Newton, Beth Burgess of Alto Pass and Grace Tipton (Rodney) of Jonesboro, Illinois; her siblings, Anita Roach (Ronald) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Ruthie Burgess of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, William Burgess (Donna) of Cunningham, Stevie Burgess of Arlington and Gene Burgess (Sue) of Arlington, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Josh Burgess, Rodney Tipton Jr., Dustin Cope Corzine, Rebecka Eubanks Burgess, Brooklyn Tipton, Justin Burgess, Gabryle Eubanks, Shawnah Eubanks Burgess, Linzie Smith, Luke Smith, Shawn George and Kala George. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
