James Heern Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Heern of Alto Pass, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Heern and Lela Heern (Taborine); his wife Ola Williams; and his siblings, Ed Heern, Tom Heern and Dorothy Nance.

He is survived by: his daughters, Chris Bittle (Everett) of Alto Pass and Monica Crouse (Matt) of Arrington, Tennessee; his sister Virginia Waddington of Carbondale, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Candice Meadows, Brocklin Bittle and Jennifer Windings. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital and Wright Way Animal Rescue in Murphysboro, Illinois.
