It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Thomas Widdows of Alto Pass, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Widdows and Zelda Widdows (Thomas); his sister Donna; his brother-in-law Jerry Beeson; his brother John Warren Widdows; and his nephew Kevin Widdows.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Alice Widdows of Alto Pass; his niece Sherry Sloan (Dean) of Casey; and his nephews, Brad Beeson (Annette) and Michael Hoxworth (Alexandra) of Crawfordville, FL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alto Pass Veterans Memorial or the Alto Pass Cemetery Trust or Maintenance Fund.
