He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Dammerman and Ila Dammerman (McCallen); and his sister Lillian. He is survived by: his daughters, Robbi Lidwin (Garrett) and Tara Standerfer (Luke); his siblings, Patti Bernhard (Paul), Brenda Brummer (Brian), Bob Dammerman and Tom Dammerman; and his grandchildren, Kylie Meade, Caden, Calin Chandler, Carter and Claire Standerfer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gieseking Funeral Home (208 N 2nd St, Altamont, IL 62411). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Altamont VFW or Meals on Wheels.
