We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Rusty Sowers of Altamont, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother William Wayne Sowers. He is survived by: his parents, William E. Sowers and Joan Sowers (Leasher); his children, Shane Smith (Beth) of Farina, Chad Smith (Sarah) of Iola, Chris Sowers (Lacey) of Farina, Illinois and Tori Sloan (Tony) of Altamont, Illinois; his siblings, Bruce Sowers (Brenda) of Farina, Illinois, Terry Dunn of Stewardson and Candi Mintert (Tracy) of Effingham, Illinois; and his close friend Pam Riley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may go to the Tori or Chris to help with expenses of Rusty's headstone.
