He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Russell and Doris Russell (Ferguson). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Russell of Altamont; his children, Rhonda Allee (Tim) of Mattoon and Richard Russell (Donna) of Mattoon; his stepdaughter Kelly Seaton (Adam) of Effingham; his brothers, Ron Russell (Janice) of Mattoon, Homer Earl Russell (Joyce) of Granite City and David Russell of Lititz, PA; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Russell of Effingham, Laith Russell of Effingham, Stephanie Russell of Mattoon, Kelly Russell of Mattoon and Lucas Grzelak of Mattoon. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
