It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Ohnesorge of Altamont, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ohnesorge and Christine Ohnesorge (Zacha); his brothers, Fred Ohnesorge and Gary Ohnesorge; and his grandson Roy Rogers, III.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ohnesorge of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Teresa Rogers (Roy II), Jennifer Gentry (Rob), Julie Ohnesorge and Marc Ohnesorge; his grandchildren, Darian Rogers, Haylee Rogers, Zakery Gentry (Nickie), Jacob Gentry, Mallorie Gentry, Kayden Ohnesorge, Kyson Ohnesorge, Karter Ohnesorge and Kohen Reed; and his great grandchildren, Annelise, Oliver and Zayne Gentry.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels and St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham.
