She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius E. Smith and Leona J. Smith (Price); her husband Jay Welker; and her siblings, Jay Smith, Lloyd Smith and Bobbie Barks.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Smith (Sandy) of Patton, Missouri and Lela Shrum of Sedgewickville; her close friends, Ron Ragsdale and Lisette Ehrat; and her nephew Jack Belden. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
