She was predeceased by: her parents, Presley Hankins and Blanche Hankins (Johnson); her husband Floyd "Ray" Gilbert; her son Mark Gilbert; and her brothers, LeRoy, Kenneth, Gene and Lewis Hankins.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Gilbert of Altamont and Forest Gilbert (Susan) of Lusby, MD; her grandchildren, Alexander Gilbert (Chelsea Miller) of St. Louis, MO and Lauren Gray (Morgan); her great grandchild Lucy Gray of Brevard, NC; her daughter-in-law Sheila Maloney of White Heath, IL; and her sister-in-law Gennell Hankins of Minooka, IL..
