It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerhard Braasch of Altamont, Illinois, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Luella V. Gust; his siblings, Marcus Braasch (Edna), Elda Boyer (George) and Henrietta Beccue (Delbert); and his grandson Randy Manley.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Braasch (Debra) of St. Elmo, Gary Braasch (Susan) of Altamont, Keith Braasch (Angie) of Altamont and Sharon Harper (Kyle) of Altamont; his grandchildren, April Nolen (Matt), Jennifer Milleville (Dane), Michelle Winter (Tyler) and Alec Braasch; and his great grandchildren, Marlee Nolen, Lillian Nolen, Steven Barton, Perry Manley, Garrett Buzzard (Taylor), Tessa Manley, Kade Milleville, Carson Milleville, Dayton Winter and Haley Winter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
CDC and IDPH guidelines with regard to COVID-19 must be followed. This includes, but is not limited to, face covering and social distancing.
