It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Lux (Altamont, Illinois), born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Harold F. Lange; her spouse Dale E. Lux; her sons, Scott Lux of Nederland, CO and Brent Lux (Jennifer) of Hoffman Estates, IL; her mother Geraldine Lange of Altamont; her siblings, Linda Sullens (Mike) of Gulf Shores, AL, Ruth Dennis (Steve) of Mt. Zion, Kim Smith (Ron) of Altamont, Bev Lee of Altamont and Larry Lange; her grandchildren, Zachary Lux (Braea), Malia, Kaia and Sienna Lux; her great grandchild Ryder Lux; and her sister Caroline Lange.
Memorials may be made to the Altamont Youth Sports Commission or the athletic department at Altamont Community High School.
