She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Reginal and Marian Cecelia Phelps-Murray; her sons, Chris (Kellie) and Tom (Jessica); and her sister Jeanne Madarang.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Charles Tappan; and her brother Robert 'Bob R. Murray (Dottie) of Sebalissville.
