He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Holdsworth; his children, Gary Barton (Judy) of Alpha, IL, Curtis Barton (Susan) of Silver Springs, MD and Rosann Collingwood (Russ) of Wallace, NC; his grandchildren, Gail McNiece (Colin) of Scituate, MA, Erica Thorstenson (Jon) of Woodhull, IL, Erin Gardner (Rodney) of Charlotte, NC, Brian Collingwood of Matthew, NC, Andrew Barton of Frederick, MD and Kevin Barton of Silver Springs, MD; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Cole, Neala, Leah, Devin, Gracie and Peyton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
