He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Laurie Aten (Lance) of Galesburg, Jeff Black (Angie) of Carol Stream and Eric Black (Lisa) of Naperville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Connor, Grant Aten, Abbey, Jake, Sophie Black, Ellie and Nora Hoel; and his brothers, Mike Black (Bev) of Washington, Bill Black (Sherry) of Washington, Larry Black of Iowa City, Steve Black (Denise) of Webster, Gary Black (Jackie) of Ankeny, Tom Black (Deb) of Washington and Brad Black (Bonnie) of Sigourney, Iowa. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and great-nephews; and two great-great-nieces.
