With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Arno Peterson of Alpha, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Robert and Edith Eliza Woodside Peterson; his granddaughter Jennifer; his brother Rodney Dale Peterson; his parents-in-law, Tony and Virginia Bubon; and his sister-in-law Sharon Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Kay Peterson of Alpha, IL; his children, Stephanie Dianne Shaner (Jeff) of Mayville, WI, Dewain D. Peterson (Kirsten) of Manteno, IL and Toni Dyan Peterson of Woodhull, IL; his grandchildren, Stacy, Jessica, Jacob, Dylan, Kevin, Nathan, Lauren, Jaimie, Austin, Christopher Jr., Shane and Luke; his brother Michael Peterson of Woodhull, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Cain of Alpha, IL and Kent Bubon of Alpha, IL. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be left to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals, or to the ASPCA.
