He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Swift and Sue Swift of Alma; and his brother-in-law Randy Yates. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Swift (Jeremy Stanberry) of Virden, Illinois.; his wife Gloria (Baylis); his siblings, Marsha Swift of Alma, Ronda Yates of Alma and Russell Swift (Bobbi) of Alma; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Swift (Kasey) and Kim Thomas (Thad Genaust). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and one great nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kinmundy Christian Church (225 S Monroe St, Kinmundy, IL 62854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
