She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Mattox and Geneva Mattox (Gher); her husband Jackie Wayne "Jack" Johnson; her son Eric Wayne Johnson; and her brother James Mattox.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Coggan III (Jabez) of Cocoa Florida; her grandchildren, James Johnson (Samantha), Alan Johnson, Jaclyn Meade (Zack), Maia Marquez (Ruben) and Jabez Coggan IV; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Benjamin, Lucy, Catherine, Madilyn, Aria and Eliza; her daughter-in-law Stella Johnson; and her siblings, Bill Mattox (Peggy), Mike Mattox, Coralee Skeen (Delmar) and Candace Adair. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
