He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Elmer and Helen Lily Hafner Jr. (Huffman); his son Louis Elmer Hafner IV; his close friend Debbie Bishop; and his siblings, Dale Mitchem and Laura Kay Waynick.
He is survived by: his daughter Holly; his son-in-law Jim Lawson of Poplar Bluff, MO; his stepdaughter Michelle (Ron Cooper); his grandchildren, Jacob Lawson, Gracie Jo Lawson, Brittany Cooper and Brianna Cooper; his sisters, Adell (Michael Williams) and Georgia (Phillip Starling); and his friends, Mike and Rhonda Tibbs. He is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to his family.
