She was predeceased by: her husband Donald M. Koch; her parents, Oscar J. Hess and Katherine M. Hess; and her siblings, Shirley Ann Brown Lutz and Myron John Hess.

She is survived by: her children, Kandy L. Buzick (Ralph) of Edwardsville, IL and Randy D. Koch (Tina) of Alhambra, IL; her grandchildren, Lacey B. Buzick (Fiance-Timothy Evans) of Edwardsville, IL., Abby K. Thompson (Nick) of Glen Carbon, IL and Amber N. Koch of Alhambra, IL; her great grandchildren, Leighton B. Buzick, Drake N. Schwarz and Teagan M. Thompson; and her sister Marian Ester Nelson of Trenton, IL..
