It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Sheldon Lewis Jr. (Algonquin, Illinois), who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis and Evelyn Lewis; his sister Joyce; and his daughter Anne Martin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine M. Halverson; his children, Sheldon, Patricia McClean (Jim), John Lewis (Kathy), Jim Lewis, Paul Lewis (Tori) and Mark Lewis (Karin); and his son-in-law Jim Martin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley, Illinois.
