He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Miller and Betty Miller; and his brother Marty. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Robert (Mishel) and Katie; his grandson Brody Miller; his sister Sandy Schroeder (Michael); his nieces, Julia Ferwerda (Joe) and Sarah Schroeder; his sister-in-law Anne Miller; and his nephews, Michael Miller (Nicole), Mark Miller and Andrew Miller (Christine).
