He was predeceased by: his son Ronald; his grandson Bryan Artel; his stepgrandson Jason Peterson; and his brother Ronald Artel. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Eckerty; his sons, Robert A. (Jeanne) and Jeffery R. Artel (Diane); his daughter-in-law Barbara Artel; his grandchildren, Michael Artel (Alice), Kelly Koenig (Chad), McKayla Artel and Jacob Artel; his stepgrandchildren, Sherrie, Eric (Randi) and Dawn Peterson; his brother Roger Artel; and his sister-in-law Mary Artel. He is also survived by 10 Great grandchildren.
