He was predeceased by: his father John Burck; his birth mother Phyllis Klecan; his godsons, Thomas and Michael Grogan; and his close friend Tom Grogan.
He is survived by: his wife Jonna; his daughters, Jenae, Kayla Halper (Jacob) and Camille; his mother Carol Tripp (Gary); his siblings, Debbie Scullin (Dan), Jeanne Bordeau (Dave), John (Christine), Karen Rowland (Scott) and Mary Kay Cavanaugh (Jerry); and his pet Hawaiian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, in-laws.
