With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul G. Claps of Algonquin, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Vincent Claps. He is survived by: his mother Mary Claps (Bob); his son Ben; his siblings, Laury Karwoski (Bill), Vincent Claps (Lisa), Phil Claps (Kelli), Mary Kay Horney (Kevin), Patty Creager (Rick) and Janice Claps; and his stepchildren, Connor and Alex. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

This year during the pandemic, he sought donations to make & deliver meals to front-line workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Animal Almost Home Foundation or St. Mary Church.
