He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jolitz and Margaret Jolitz (Petersen) of Carpentersville, Illinois.; his wife Sue; and his daughter-in-law Amanda "Mandy" Jolitz. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Jolitz of Algonquin and Randy Jolitz (Leslie) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Benson (Amanda), Brian (Kaitlyn), Charles, Seth, Madison and Meredith; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Max and Harlow.
